Keeping the
arts alive through quality community
theater

As most of you now know, Mississippi College has purchased the
Old Clinton Junior High property off Fairmont Street where the
Clinton Brick Street Players has called home for fourteen
years, and we have to be moved out of the facility by June 30,
2010. Our future is uncertain at this time, and we are
weighing several options as to what our next move will be. We
are looking at several buildings around the Clinton area, and we
will be deciding what is economically feasible for us. There
are grants available for remodeling, upgrading, etc.,
but organizations must own a building to get them. After
talking with other community theatres in the area, the Arts
Alliance, and to the Mississippi Board for
Non-profits, we have been told that the only way a community
theatre can operate is with benefactors. If anyone
is interested in helping in this way, please call
601-573-2759.
Meanwhile, thank you very much to all of you for
you support in the past, and we hope to see you all again
soon.
